Featured Songs
Kiana performed several songs for us while here on the Red Couch. “Put the Work In” reveals an honest take on DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and the frustrating reality of the healing and recovery process. This song consists of guttural vocals, catchy guitar, and a dash of irony. “Corners” is about letting go, toughening up and finding peace in wherever we are in our lives. “It’s the most optimistic song I’ve ever written” and “Hypnotized” is what is known as “the diary love song” Written as a vulnerable confession of romantic feelings towards an old friend; Though they’ve heard it, they may never know.
